Miscellaneous

So... I've been bad at posting. Things have been crazy with wedding planning and Fall activities!

We went and saw The Oranges Band in Mt. Vernon park on First Thursday. It was a lot of fun.

It feels like the country in Baltimore city today...

And now... for the wedding stuff!

I finished our silhouettes, which will be put on the porta-potty doors for the wedding to distinguish the ladies' room from the room with the pee on the seat. ;)

I also finally finished all the petal cones! These will hang on the ceremony chairs and be filled with rose petals to be thrown at us as we go up the aisle.

These coffee-stained hangtags will hang on the pear stems (our favors) with our guest's name & table #.

My new dream wedding dress

I'm in love with this dress. Obviously I already have a wedding dress (see post below), which has brought me to the conclusion that I need to attend formals - or better yet - throw my own formals. Maybe Nick can build a ballroom onto the house....

"...it’s like a My Little Pony and Tinkerbell totally got it on nasty-style in a magical rhinestone shop and this dress was their sparkling bastard love child. And I mean that in the very best possible way! I’m totally in love."

Ren Fest

Sigh of relief

The invites are DONE!!!
(Well, minus the 5 or so that I'm still waiting on addresses for...)

A HUGE thank you to InSung, Laura & Silvia for sacraficing thier Saturday and helping me get all of these things put together and addressed. Thanks to the extra hands and the great conversation, the work and time just flew by!

Here are all the lined envelopes in a row, ready for stuffing.

Here is the map Nick and I made. I think it's awesome. Everything was done by hand and then scanned into the computer.
